What an exciting week! Stetson had the last cuts for the Highschools 7th grade team on Monday night. He had to leave early with a bunch of other kids for a baseball tournament and they were supposed to find out that night whether they made it or not. Well the next day everyone was emailed and told yes or no if they made it or not….. Except for Stetson and his good friend Corbin…. We just didn’t’ hear anything…
So Chad and I left early Tuesday morning for Palm Springs! BEAUTIFUL!! And NOT HUMID!! Chad was in meetings a lot of the time and golfing so I spent a lot of time relaxing by the pool, visiting and shopping and I got a nice massage..ahhhh..Yet still no email for Stetson.Except for Stetson and his good friend Corbin…. We just didn’t’ hear anything…


Back at home, The little boys had a bowling tournament and Hudson was adamant that he couldn’t miss it so grandma said that she would take him. Well yea!! He won the bowling tournament and received a nice bowling pin.. All the while I’m getting text messages from Stetson and others wanting to know if h I’d heard from the coach….nothing…I was really starting to feel so bad for him since everyone else had heard and he was still left wondering☹ I had decided if we hadn’t heard anything by Friday I would email him….

Finally, late Thursday night, I received a very apologetic email letting me know that the decision for having him on the team was clear cut but since he was one of those that left early for baseball, somehow his name slipped through the cracks…

His friend Corbin also made it!! The heart dropping thing was all of the times I used “I’m sorry” in the email until the end when he told us that he did make it…. ………Stetson also let me know that they took first place in the baseball tournament too…YEA!!

Chad even won $100 for taking 1st place in the golf tournament!!!

Speaking of boys, Jacob made it Czech and we can’t wait to hear about his adventures!! And Jordan is still loving it and working hard as Zone leader in the city of Kent…Just hope to all stay healthy..
