Jaocb has left the country! Oh it is times like these that I really wish he was not going so far away…He keeps saying things about how he will be there for 2 years but the countdown already started and we are down to less then 22 months…It was great to talk to him today and we are so excited for him!! We got to talk to him this morning and it was Awesome!! We could tell that he is very anxious for the next faze…
In Jacob’s letter there was a list of last minuet needs for me to send him. The funniest item on his list was the last item on his list, which was fresh tomatoes from our garden. Gladly I could comply and they were not yet frozen..
This weekend it felt great to clean up the yard and garages for the winter. Yes, we did it without 2 big strong boys. Chad worked very hard..(I did help). However, in the middle of it all I was wisked away to Primary Children’s Hospital. Stetson had been playing football with friends down the street when his head hit the sidewalk. The neighbor kids said that he couldn’t remember what happened or how he got to his friends house, where is other friend lived ect…..He had blurry vision and just wanted to go lay down and have a nap..He has a slight concussion but seems to be fine. I had flashbacks of Jordan’s head injury 2 years ago….. luckily there was no fractured skull or subduralhematoma this time..…
These are my latest creations, and gifts for my boys, Holiday Pillowcases!
Here is the poem for them
Because we love you, this is so specific,
What we want to do, is make you feel terrific.
While visions of sugarplums (or pumpkins) dance in you head,
Remember you’re loved as you lay down to bed.
The road work that his been going on on Redwood Rd. is now finished and since it is 4 lanes now, you think you are on a free way but the speed limit is only 45 so there has been MANY cops out giving MANY tickets..We have so far NOT been targeted. Actually, the kids have me on close watch. We’ve been talking a lot about the
“no texting law” and they won’t let me eat or anything while driving now.. SAFTY FIRST!
