Happy Thanksgiving! I am so thankful for so much today! Mostly for my family and that we have a nice warm house…That we are all healthy and safe…. Thanksgiving was different than most... I got up early and went with Marne to Ephraim to pick up my niece Nicole at the same time Dad took the little boys pheasant hunting. We had a late feast at Grandam Phills and after a quick clean up we went to the movie “Blindside” which made for a great Thanksgiving show. Jessica and I had planned to go shopping at midnight but she was too tired so I just got on the computer and ordered a few “black Friday” things on line and off to dream land until Friday morning where the Basketball tournament began… Stetson and Hudson had 2 games each on Friday and Stetson had 1 on Saturday and Hud had 2 on Weds. And he won the Championship game and got a tee-shirt to prove it!!
We had a traumatic moment this morning. To fully understand you must know Jacob’s dog Dusty and the fact that Jacob loves him very much and that he is very sensitive if you say anything negative about him. Also that he is the strongest, fastest, and although I would say he is the most stupid dog around, Jacob would say he is the smartest and that’s probably the problem. That he’s to smart for his won britches…Anyway, basically the darn dog can jump our six foot wall and does so everytime he is let out and is so far gone, so fast that one could spend all day trying to catch and find him but everytime you do, and you try to get him back in the truck or what ever, he just jumps out and is gone again so we just leave the gate open and pray for him. I have to note that in every letter Jacob writes, he closes by asking if we let his dog out or if we took him hunting..(MAJOR GUILT!!) To weeks ago Chad and Stetson tried take him hunting and to get him in the kennel in the truck but he took off, so after Stetson ran around the neighborhood for ½ hour, they had to leave him behind…..So on this lovely Thanksgiving morning, they gave it another try. Now Chad is a very kind and loving guy. He loves babies and children and always cries in movies even if they aren’t really that touching. However, after I witnessed the goings on in my garage at 7:00 am, I won’t go into any details for fear that the animal cruelty people come and take my husband away and tar and feather him, I truly thought that he would shoot that dog instead of the pheasants before the day was through…..He did, however, return and they all had a marvelous time and all is well….

So BYU won and what am I goin to do, IM GOING TO DISNEYLAND!!! No but really, I’m going to Disneyland!!! We are on our way to the happiest place on earth! In the moterhome is Chad, Jana, Stetson, Hudson, Stockotn, Marne, Nicloe, Ciara, and Maddie!!!!
