Well my niece’s wedding (of which the reception took place in my backyard) went off without a hitch! (well there was a “hitch” haha) actually there really was a little issue but I shouldn’t get into that, sorry.. Anyway, It was BEAUTIFUL!!! She was a beautiful bride and she couldn’t have picked a better man to share her life with and to take care of her from now until forever!!! Everything really was so perfect! I can’t think of anything that could’ve been any better..

Oh My Gosh, the help that we got was incredible. I’ve never done this before and I can now see that there is no way that we could’ve done it without the help of SOO many people.. So many people have offered to help and lent out freezers, driveways for parking, platters, ect.., Chad’s mom tying close to a bazillion bows, Chad working hard in the yard and following through with different things that needed fixing, My mom making all the jackets for the brides maids, my sister Allyson coming in from Seattle helped SO much the day before and the day of, Stetson spending hours in the pool trying to get the flowers to stay, Jessica making brownies ALL day, Marne probably can’t count as high as the amount of stores she has been in over the last few month, The nice lady that leant out so much wedding paraphernalia, so much family including so many of Jims family helped so much the day before and the night of the reception.. Oh and Marne and I are thinking we should open a florist shop since we think we are now florists after making all the flower balls..(not really) It was so good to see so many friends and family and to see Nicole so happy..

I loved being able to be a part of it and I have loved being able to see 2 of our nieces get married in the Temple these last few months.. I’m so happy for them and wish them the best in their lives to come! Wow, I really feel old but it’s really exciting to watch this next generation start their lives and the great choices they are making… Congratulations!!!! Now as Marne (the mother of the bride) said, “The wedding is over, now nobody bug me….JK
