I am so proud of 2 little boys today. 1st being Scott, Stockton’s little friend from across the street. He and Stockton have been meeting with the missionaries at least once a week for a few months, and he was baptized today! Scott is really shy and he was VERY nervous about getting up in front of people so he has been putting it off for quite a while. It was a very special day for him and he was full of smiles. 2nd is Stockton who has been diligent about going over to his house when ever the missionaries came and he did an awesome job when he gave a talk at baptism. He did it as though he was a return missionary and you would have never known that at the last minuet he was in tears telling his dad that he was not going to go up and do it. (It was in the chapel and there were way more people than he planned on and the talk was pretty long) but anyway, Chad walked up with him for moral support and the rest was history, he really did good! It was a great day! It made me think so much of my twins and what a great thing just took place. That because of this ordinance, this young man is taking the first step in his life to make it back to his Heavenly Father and making covenants so that he can be with his family forever! The talks were great, and we watched a little video of Joseph Smith and just what happened to restore this gospel, and make all this possible. I am so amazed at the persecution that that man and his family and followers went through, and how much faith he and so many had to bring world the truth!
