Lake Powell Drama...

LAKE POWELL BABY!!! What a great time we had! Well, once we got past the first day when the repairmen put the house boat in the water and there was no reverse. As Chad backed it out into the water, it went forward and spinned and ran into the dock, took out a sign, and skimmed some guys boat trailer. Somehow they but it back on the trailer and took it out of the water-and when they thought it was fixed, put it back in and again, spinning and almost hit some old lady in her boat! She freaked out and started flipping off the house boat and yelling at Chad telling him he needed to learn to drive the “GD” boat and went on and on swearing and freaking out threatening to sue, until I had had enough so I told her to “calm down, that the boat was broken and it was an accident. Where as she said, “ If it is broken, then he shouldn’t be driving it. Where I again said, Calm down! Obviously, they thought it was fixed! Where as, she called me a B@#$% and drove off.. Hudson thought he would die of embarrassment and told be to stop, but Stetson and his friends were very proud of me… Crazy lady! In her defense, I’m sure it scared the crap out of her seeing that huge thing coming at her little boat, but I’m sure not half as freaked out as Chad was…I don’t know how he drives that thing even when it’s not broken.. Anyway, 3rd time was a charm! (They made sure that everyone was out to the way that time)
Anyway, lots of fun with family and friends! Not the sunniest weather and a little windy and was cold at night but no complaining here.. It’s usually SO hot! Well pictures say a thousand words so here are some pic..
P.S. The way home was kinda scary too, the Jackson’s car broke down. But with Alan doing a little mechanics, they made it home buy driving in 4Wheel drive..
