We had dinner at grandma Penny’s as usual and ended out staying longer than usual and visited. A friend/neighbor of theirs who also served a mission in the Czech came over and we all visited for a while. We heard some awesome stories and testimony builders all the way around.
We had a good laugh about this bill board

They told us about the “Miracle of Slovokia” They told us how just 4 years ago, The LDS Church wasn’t a “recognized religion” in the country of Slovakia. It was mostly run by the Catholic church. And in order to make it so, they were told they needed to have 50,000 members, which they came no where near..
Somehow they found a glitch in the law and found that they only needed 20 thousand signatures. He told us of how only the 12 missionaries there spoke the language, about 30 Czech missionaries who did not speak Slovak were told to pack what they needed for a week and that there would be NO postulating or trackting and no “P” day. They were to just simply get signatures, phone numbers, addresses and SS#. While the first presidency back in the states were fasting and praying.
Miraculously they suddenly had people coming up to them and asking them what they could to do and where do they sign. At one time the Catholic church came out and said “DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING,IF YOU SIGN THEIR PAPER, YOU ARE THEN A MEMBER OF THAT CHURCH” But it didn’t stop the church from going forth and it only took them 4 days to do what they weren’t even sure they could do at all. Then they had a "P" day. I also found it so interesting that now that we are a "recognized religion" we are allowed certain government money...But of course, we don't take it like all the other religions. We are independent!
